Is it too early to think about Christmas?

I find myself thinking of Christmas. Of candy canes, Santas on the street corners, and the sound of jingle bells in the air. I blame my yearning on the fact that I have a Christmas book coming out on November 1 (Home for the Holly Days). I'm also currently writing a short novelette for my Seriously Sweet St. Louis series that is set right before Christmas. I REALLY don't want to rush fall which is my favorite time of the year. I want to enjoy it to the fullest because I know that no matter how wonderful I find the Christmas holidays when Old Man Winter blows snow and sub-zero temperatures across the plains, I'll be wishing I was right where I am now, enjoying everything that is wonderful about autumn
