But when some unknown "someone" cancelled the appointment I'd waited four days for, I pushed hard. It didn't make a difference. Even though it was their fault for cancelling my appointment, I was put on another FIVE day wait.  My husband and I went out to dinner that night and we got to talking about the situation. What we concluded was this was all a matter of perspective. Yes, it was horrible to be without Internet service, but it wasn't as if one of us was sick or dying. We were healthy and happy (as long as we didn't think about the Internet).  This story ends happily as a technician showed up unexpectedly the next day...and the Internet is working again!!
