As If You Were Mine
Book Two from the St. Louis Series
He'll do whatever necessary to keep her safe. . .
Christian music star Sara Michaels has a stalker. And a secret. When her management team hires Crow Tucci to be her bodyguard, Sara knows the bad guy isn’t the only one who has to watch out. Rugged brutes aren’t usually the type of men she goes for, but Crow hits all her buttons.
He’s tall, dark and utterly delectable. Crow carries with him an air of danger, as disturbing as it is exciting. He’s with her 24/7, following her everywhere—including to church, a place he never thought he’d go again. As the two fight their growing feelings for each other, the stalker closes in. He has vowed to do whatever necessary to keep her safe, but he doesn’t know her secret. Without that information, neither of them may be safe. Dreams come true in this uplifting story.

“I enjoyed the twists and turns caused by miscommunications in the story. The book exemplifies the challenges caused by the lack of truthful open communication in a relationship.”

“Seriously Sweet St. Louis - Loving this series! This is about famous Christian singer Sara and her bodyguard Crow (Sal). As a Christian singer Sara needs to keep an image to match her profession but like every human being there are skeletons in her closet that will soon come out. Sara was abandoned to foster care at the age of 15 when her birth mother was beaten close to death by her boyfriend Gary. She is now receiving threatening notes and due to this her manager Meg decides she needs a bodyguard, but she never thinks that she should fall for a man with long hair and tattoos (based on her mother’s choices), but she soon realizes that you cannot dictate to the heart – not everyone is the same. Sal also realizes that he is who he has always been not the bad boy long hair man that his job converted him to, but the one that his siblings and parents have always loved and known. This story is touching because of the reality that even Christians have things to hide but it does not define them nor does the outside of person. Forgiveness and being true to yourself is always the answer. I truly loved this story.”
